Undergraduate Admissions
Undergraduate students wishing
to apply for admission may do so by submitting a paper application form with
appropriate application fee or by submitting the electronic application
through the Internet and providing credit card information for the
application fee. The application fee must be received before the application
can be processed. Access the electronic

supporting documents and credentials must be in paper format to be
considered official for admission purposes. You will
receive information regarding your admission status approximately after 48
hours for a completed application. Undergraduate study builds an in-depth focus in your major field on top of a

For an additional cost of $45.00 we will Express Mail your
I-20 should you be accepted

Official transcript(s) of your secondary and
post-secondary school credits
2.
Official TOEFL or IELTS score
results

Financial Statement of Support with certified bank statement
or a financial guarantee
·
Copy of Passport
Once you get the I-20, you need
to pay the Sevis Fee
Academic Requirements:
A minimum CGPA
of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent in high school
English Language Requirements:
All International students must submit an official, passing TOEFL or IELTS
score to the International Programs and Services Office. Students who do not
submit such a score will be required to enroll in and complete PSU's
Intensive English Program (IEP), prior to beginning any academic coursework.

Applicants to the English or Psychology and Counseling programs will not be
admitted without a passing TOEFL score. IEP is not accepted for admission to
these programs

Score Requirements for Graduate School Admission
TOEFL:

6.5 with no band less than 6.5
Graduate Assistance Ship
Assistantships are available as teaching, administrative and research.
All
graduate assistants must be admitted to a graduate degree program and be up
to date with Graduate School requirements.
· Full-time
graduate assistants must enroll in and complete at least 9 hours of graduate
credit each semester with at least 6 hours at the 700-800 level. Part-time
graduate assistants must enroll in and complete at least 6 hours of graduate
credit, all of which must be at the 700-800 level.
· International students must have approval to work in the US.
· International teaching assistants must have earned a score of at least 22
on the speaking portion of the TOEFL.
· Individual
departments may have other specific requirements
